Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cheng-Yu Lin. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Cheng-Yu Lin. Natalie Olivia Pretzer and Edward Cheng-Yu Lin were united in marriage on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church in St. Charles. Jason Baldwin performed the 4 p.m. ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Glen and Linda Pretzer, of St. Charles. The groom is the son of Shu-Sheng Lin and Li-Hwa Peng, of Taichung, Taiwan.

The bride wore an ivory strapless gown with sweetheart neckline. The dress was embellished with lace and pearl beading. She wore her grandmother's silk wedding veil. She carried a bouquet of cream and yellow roses, hydrangea and baby's breath.

The maid of honor was Annette Pretzer, of Saginaw, sister of the bride. Bridesmaid was Tara Barancik, of Washington D.C., friend of the bride. Flower girl was Sarah Pretzer, of Midland, cousin of the bride.

The best man was Kris Anderson, of Saginaw, friend of the groom. Ushers were Aaron Pretzer, of Hemlock, cousin of the bride, and Chaim, Liam and Noam Pretzer, of Midland, cousins of the bride. After the ceremony as dinner was held in the couple's honor at Hope Lutheran Church, followed by a garden reception at the home of the bride's parents.

The couple honeymooned in Michigan's Upper Peninsula before making their home in Taipei, Taiwan.

The bride and groom are both graduate students at National Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan.
