AUDITIONS FOR ‘FORUM’ – Clio Cast and Crew will hold open auditions for the musical comedy, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, book by Burt Shevelove and Larry Gelbart. Auditions will be on Wednesday and Thursday, March 7 and 8 at 6:30 p.m. (those auditioning are not required to attend both nights) at Theatre 57, 2220 W. Vienna Road, Clio. Director Maggie Harmon is looking for a minimum of 12 men and eight women, ranging in ages from 18 and up. Applicants should be prepared to sing a song from a show of their choice that best showcases their vocal range. The accompaniment track should be no more than 60 seconds in length, music only, no vocals please. A pianist will be available to play for those who do not have a track. Applicants should wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for easy choreography. The production is scheduled for eight performances running two weekends from March 10 – 20.
