SENIOR Menus & Activities


Monday, Mar. 26: Luncheon steak with gravy, whipped potatoes, Scandinavian vegetables, wheat roll and margarine, fresh fruit salad, and one percent low fat milk.

Tuesday, Mar. 27: Baked chicken breast, sweet potatoes, French green beans, potato roll and margarine, sliced pears, and cranberry juice.

Wednesday, Mar. 28: Goulash with ground beef, Key West vegetables, steamed cauliflower, corn muffin and margarine, and one percent low fat milk.

Thursday, Mar. 29: Chicken a la king, sweet peas with pearl onions, baby carrots, buttermilk biscuit and margarine, fresh orange, and apple juice.

Friday, Mar. 30: Baked fish, lemon juice pack, cole slaw with red peppers, au gratin potatoes, wheat roll and margarine, mixed fruit salad, and one percent low fat milk.


Monday, Mar. 26: Glazed chicken quarters, maple glazed sweet potatoes, Capri vegetables, fresh grapes, and whole wheat bread.

Tuesday, Mar. 27: Sloppy joe, cole slaw, carrots, and escalloped apples.

Wednesday, Mar. 28: Roast beef with gravy, mashed potatoes, brussels sprouts, fruit medley and whole wheat bread.

Thursday, Mar. 29: Marinated turkey, redskin potatoes with onions, peas, chocolate pudding cup, and whole wheat bread.

Friday, Mar 30: Egg and cheese, breakfast burrito, potatoes continental, Canadian bacon, fruit and cottage cheese, banana muffin, and chocolate milk.

Chesaning Young at Heart Club

The Senior Young at Heart Club is planning a trip to Turkeyville (Cornwell’s) on Saturday, June 9. The bus will leave the senior center at 8 a.m. with a breakfast stop at McDonald’s (cost is your own). The cost of the bus, dinner and theatre play is $47 per person. The play is a comedy, You Don’t Look Like a Grandmother. There will be a flea market and antique show on the grounds that day. You will have plenty of tiem to visit the flea market and gift shops. The seniors are having a silent auction. We would appreciate having items donated to us by our local merchants and area residents. Items can be “used” if in good condition. Items can be brought into the center Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Come join the Brady Bunch activities. The center is open Monday- Friday from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Visit with friends and make new friends. Lunch is served Monday- Friday with a suggested $2.25 donation. Please call to order your meal (989) 845-7200 by 11:30 a.m. the day before you will attend.

Albee Senior Friends

Albee Senior Friends meet for activities from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays at the Albee Community Center. Registration is not required. People who wish to participate may bring a friend. Programs change weekly.
